Here's the post of dissent - no macro lenses were used to get this detail!

Image 1: The crater Eratosthenes and Appenis mountain range

Image 2: The craters Aristotles and Eudoxus

Image 3: Equipment used (for reference!)

Equipment: Meade LX200 EMC 8", Celestron 2.5x Barlow, Meade 26mm Super Plossl, Canon Powershot S20 (Fully manual mode with minimum image compression). Limiting factors: too many to list.
