Class One World Championship, Plymouth 2004
Well it's that time of year again, those crazy men thunder into Plymouth to mess about on the water.
I managed to blag my way into the wet pit area today and down onto the pontoons. It's amazing what you can get away with when you have a Canon 10D and a radio scanner strapped to you, almost looked like I knew what I was doing
I nearly fell in the drink whilst on the pontoons, I was taking a pic when one of the 8.2litre V12 Lamborghini engines from the boat behind me fired up
A when the second one fired up
They sounded amazing on tick over, but when all 10 boats are racing that's 20 V12's it is something else.
Race day is on Sunday, so I'll post some pics up again.
Off to bed now as I'm up at 5AM to get from Plymouth to Swansea for the Swansea Bay Rally, busy weekend
