HKS Super Drager 5"

Would probably be a 4 on a UK car but mines a 3 as its got equal length manifolds.

Thumbs up

Blitz NUR Spec (Back-box only)

I reckon a 4 when it is cold, but quietens to a 3 once it is warmed up....my neighbours may of course think otherwise!

(Top pic is of mine, other 2 pics have been supplied by others )

Here's mine, Blitz NUR Spec:

I'd say mine was a 5, I set car alarms off all the time.

If you want loud, get a NUR Spec.

My MY03 STI PPP with Vortex Afterburner ....

I'd rate it around 4 (maybe slightly under ) on your scale ...... it's not noisey for the sake of being noisey ..... IMHO sounds stunning

Really want one of those for mine. Are you not too bothered about warranty, or has your dealer assured you everything'd be "ok"? I want to make the most of that sound, but I'm worried about warranty issues for the remaining 2 years.

Was informed by IM that the only thing only on warrenty that will be invalid is the whole exhaust system, so not worried at all. Lovely sound compared to both the std and PPP back box.

Thankyou very much for that... just one more question... did you find it to be much louder than the PPP exhaust at idle/motorway/full throttle etc? I like the deep rumble of the PPP, I'd just like a little more of it... allways makes me smile, even now.

Thanks again.

Default Fujitsubo legalis Viable

sorry its not clean

and the controller

In auto below 3.5k sounds std and above its a fantastic 3 due to equal length headers. In manual it can be any thinq upto 3 you like the controll also doubles as a boos guage to.

No problem ...... the Afterburner is quite a bit louder at idle .... there is a slight drone there at 70-80 on the motoway, but after a day or so you dont notice it. The real fun comes when you apply the lead-booted right foot ... ummmm ... makes me smile just tying it!

I'd be amazed if you didnt love the difference over the PPP

Question

Do any of these 'non approved' exhausts promote any noticeable gains in performance?

I've read on here that the Prodrive Zorst is the one thats best suited to the PPP.

just wondered as I would like to fit TSL's Group N to my 03STi,but don't want to lose any of the cars power characteristics nor give meself a bleeding headache,as did happen to me once, when I fitted a well known 'jap style' silencer to my old RB5

Question

Hello,
I have an Impreza STI MY04 and I would like to ask you if the Blitz back box is very loud during highway drive and also if it fits exactly to the standard STI exhaust.

Thanks

SCUBI, yes it is loud and yes the backbox will fit onto your standard exhaust, although you'd be better off getting the whole system IMHO.
