Default What is it?

Just wondering what this black box is for, it’s behind the driver’s side rear wheel.

Funnily enough I asked that exact same question to the mechanic at TSL while my car was up on the ramps having a Grp N Backbox fitted about 2 hrs ago!!

Apparently it is a carbon box that has something to do with recirculating (petrol or exhaust?) fumes. Sorry... not v technical.... but I lost interest when it stopped sounding interesting!!

Aye. It sounds just right burbling along, and is not too intrusive when you are cruising at high speeds. Just what I wanted (OE was way too quiet, but didn't want to wake the neighbours).

Plus it looks pretty stealthy and was only £282 (it is the same one as on TSLs STi in the "TSL new wraparound Kit" thread).
