Some more pics now that Xmas is over.

Will do some proper pics when I've got the STi high level rear wing on, and the wing mirrors/wing mirror attachments sprayed up white next month. Want to show non-standard items including the OEM rear skirts (pair), and the larger STi GeNome back box (quiet at low revs, then goes noisy at high revs, and has much bigger tailpipe than the standard STi backbox).

I do hope you are now keeping that front lip on there???

Should look even more sweet when the wing mirrors are done and the spoiler on..

Question

Mike,

Where is the Defi/STi gauge control unit mounted in the interior?

Was looking at a Defi kit anyway, but if I can buy an offical STi branded one, even better!

mikeswrt - The STi spoiler you're going to fit. Is that the carbon fibre jobby?

If so, can you do me a favour and let me know how long the "feet" are, please?? Only I'm thinking of getting one for another of my cars.

Sweet car you've got there.

Cheers,
Squizz.

Dr Evil

Mine is mounted on the drivers side, about half way between knee and clutch pedal. It does not get in the way.

Thumbs up

Alex

On the STi I'm looking at the control unit has been mounted in a silver single din pocket as fitted to the Forrester.

Looks good.

Nathan..

Thanks for the kind words everyone.

JGM - yip keeping the front splitter on - for now at least! Probably some holes in the bumper now as a result so would be costly to de-chin it! Not many cars have this so kinda makes it unique. Think the wing mirrors painted will balance the look of the car (more solid, wider, rather than a 'straight line' body look).

DrEvil - Defi control is kinda screwed down the drivers side of the centre console, will get some pics eventually. Got some instructions from someone on how to use it now but haven't had a go yet!

Squizz - nah just going for the vanilla STi high level rear wing, not the carbon one that come's on the specC Limited etc.

Cool.. I have wanted to put similar on mine but I'd only rip it off.. I have scraped both front towing eyes on the ground a few times.. lol
