The engine started to make a tapping noise, then started to make a metallic grinding noise, which is when I stopped. Turned out one of bearings had gone. I have got a new engine and should be ready for action by the end of the week. But what a car, I love type R's even though its costing me £2450 to insure the thing.

Blimey your number plate is identical to mine (well very nearly) ours must have been registered together.Cracking choice i might add my engine was rebuilt before i got it only just run in now at a cost of 5.5k Bloody autosportif robbers
