I think the design of the new Scooby is very clever. There's a lot of forward thinking envolved here and those clever Japs are going to be laughing at all you doubters.

How do you decide something is pretty or ugly? You're not born with the awareness of these things, so it is thrust upon you by those around you.
I have spent a lot of time recently drawing these cars and to do so accurately you have to study every angle and reflection. I have grown to really like the new shape, even without your fancy body kits.
I had been saving up for a P1 but I think I'll just hang on and get an MY01 when I can.

Sorry guys. You can slap as much plastic on the MY01 as you want but I still havent been pursuaded into liking the new shape with its bug eyes.

McMiata Man, I agree. In the beginning i didn't like the MY01 at all. Now a few months later I really appreciate the new design. I think you can do a lot of different things with a design like this.

I suppose once the car has been out for a few years and I get older my taste will know doubt change and I will grow to like the MY01. I might even start to enjoy last of the summer wine as well and a pint of mild, scary thought.

Here is a question for you guys is it me or does the MY01 sit very high. I have a MY98 with PD 20mm lowered suspension, there is also a standard MY98 WRX in the car park and that also seems much lower than the MY01.

There are areas of the car I do like but its the EYES the EYES the EYES and I cant afford a new one.

When you put a 00 next to a 01 with just a couple of mods the 01 looks the best by far and the 00 looks very old and dated

Have you driven a MY01... I own one and I can't stand the EYES. But it is so fantastic to drive. Because of the stiffer body it will respond better to handling mods as well.

Anyway... Look me in the face and tell me that the old shape does not look like a Proton with a few plastic bits slapped on it.

Its like a nite out on the beer staring at the oposite sex and watching them all slowly getting more attractive. Then taking one home for a good 'RIDE'. It may of been a cracking 'RIDE' but but after the beer goggles have gone in the morning I wouldnt want to keep hold of it.

A few days ago people were complaining about certain ********* who turned "for sale" threads into a joke by slagging the price of the item for sale with no interest in buying it!!. If you dont like the car, or kits, why not start another thread?? Im all for your interesting comments, but we get the idea - you dont like the car - so why not leave it at that?

This threads about new body kits for the MY01. I dont really care if you like the MY01 or not - so why not bog off with your opinions to the muppet forum where you belong.

Wow easy tiger its only a bit of friendly banter.

Now we have that behind us I do think the body kits improve the look. I prefer the 3rd and 4th picture down. They all look lowered as well with larger wheels. Is this correct.

Hi everyone.

Yeah the bug-eye lights do make the new scooby look a bit woosey!! But there are ways around it such as eyebrows etc...

As for the body WOW!!!!! This really is a nice car and has loads of promise for the future!
