Nice car Gastro. Wish I could have that. Unfortunately none available here. I think I'll get a set of those P1 wheels for my MY 00, as I also have the sonic blue colour. The colour and pattern of the wheel suit it better than the gold IMHO. Very nice, look after it.

spr,
I bought 2 types of paint..... red and white
Each caliper took 4-5 coats of red caliper paint & then I used a hard roller and dipped it in silver caliper paint (once the red was dried!)...... gave it only a couple of coats.
The result is excellent & it has kept like this for 4 months without chipping.......
Glad you like it !

Oh yes...... it took around 5 hours to do all 4 calipers...... it took the longest actually cleaning the calipers with a rotary steel brush (a la Dremel)......then degreased with solvent and then the paint !

Gastro,
For what its worth......
I think what you have done to your P1 is almost unforgiveable........ It looks awful (IMHO) - if it was a 22B fine - but christ - this is a £25K banger that was designed by an award winner etc..... ???????
Wake up Gastro, smell the teabag...........?
Sh!te Stirring Bob,
PS - Red Paint splattered ***** nilly all over the place, next thing you'll be hanging wallpaper on the inside.

Bob,
Glad you like the bravado
I agree - if I update the fronts.......not sure what to do with rear brakes...... may be tempted to get the 4-pot rear conversion as well.......
mmmmmm if only I had £2K a6round........
Cheers,
Gastro
PS - got to agree though my headlights look much better

I had the Prodrive Alcons on my MY00 with DS2000 rear pads they work very well. I don't think you need the rear converted. I sold the brakes for £500. I then go and buy the P1 and need the brakes again. I just love wasting money.

You will wish you had my Quads when driving in the dead of night. They are not only for looks they light up the road much better.

Craig, now your talking
Perhaps just weld up the doors, remove the windows, paint it red and put a white strip S&H style............
Then I really would live to my P1MPS name

Actually, I'm thinking of using the rest of the caliper paint up and painting the whole car --> halford's sonic red
