That is the definition of 'mint condition'!!
You don't even have mudflaps fitted? Are there no crap UK Std potholed, substandard repair, gravel/wet tar coated roads in your area? If the answer is yes, please give me your postcode as I want to move there!!
Excellent motor mate, I bet you don't take it to Tesco's, downtown, NCP carparks etc. Neither do I and it's a sad Scooby life!

wtf? whats wrong with the tyres? They look pretty shiny to me.
I take the wheels off too every now and again and jet wash the insides to get em clean again. That is until I fecked one of the locking wheel nuts last time
Gonna try some of this Zymol tomorrow as Ive been using Autoglym Super Resin Polish and I sick of the white powdery residue it leaves everywhere.
Simon.

Andy, she only does about 80 miles a week, it's only done 6.5k miles so I had a clean base car to start polishing when I bought it
lol Ajax, hadn't noticed that
Clean the zorst with good old Autosol
Ordered the Wax Wizzard engine cleaning kit so I'll have some under bonnent shots hopefully this week

I'm glad you didn't put that huuuuuuge WRX sticker on the bootlid (I was the person who posted the before, during and after photos)
Car looks stunning, 2 to many doors though
Getting the foglight moved into the rear light cluster cleans up the rear no-end, I can take some rear photos if you like (complete with freshly imported STi 555 Limited Plaque)

That is one mint looking car, however 4 hrs to wax the car, you must be the karate kid by now What is autosol? is it a special wheel cleaner, asking as I'm looking for a good and safe wheel cleaner for my anthracite PD7's and I don't want to **** them up, any ideas?
P1Fanatic, I swear by autoglym super, if you're getting white residue then you're using too much m8, and try putting it on with a soft make-up sponge as it spreads it more easily, and NEVER wash the sponge. Wax our scoob every month and still have 1/2 litre from 1 litre bottle bought 18 months ago

Gorgeous car fella!!
I agree though, you need to de-tango it
Oh, how come it didn't come with side skirts and rear bumper moldings?
Good job though... I favor the "Rally" look for my car

Thanks for the +ve replies
Autosol is a metal/chrome cleaner that comes in a toothpaste like tube.
Saying no to "de-tangoing", each to there own but I think that kinda tarting is best left to Nova's and Saxo brigade
No skirts as it's an RA model, (Race Altered) all unessential bits left off to save weight

CRAFT - I've got anthracite PD7's on my 02 WRX and so far no problems with the Autoglym wheel cleaner.
It's probably not the strongest solution out there but having read a couple of reviews in a auto express (I think) I thought it would be ok. I'm a fan of the autoglym stuff generally so not too difficult for me to select.

Nice one Mega!
You may remember I have one exactly the same
I can get mine looking almost as good, and is in similar pristine nick, but if you fancy popping over to the IOM and doing mine.....?!
Just an aside, on yours, does the underneath of where the 'skirts' should be and the bottom of the front doors get chipped to ****?
Mine is getting pretty bad and thinking of some front 'flaps' but it'd spoil the looks I think...
Also, whats the new zorst, and what tyres etc...
Cheers and keep up the good work on our loverly RAs!

Mark, you'll hate me, but you'll be looking all day on mine to find one stone chip
I went for Toyo Proxies in the end, was a toss up over them and the F1's. The exhaust is a HKS Hiper, I really wanted to keep the mid resonated section on but it's hard to find a quality made backbox really have to go Jap for the finish.
Sounds nice aswell, keeping the downpipe standard, not too noisey but very deep burble sound
Thanks to Mark.U and his magical cleaning solutions the engine has also now come up a treat
From this
To this
In under 1/2 an hour

Eehhh.....I 'ate you Butler!
Hehe!
Engine bay looking top too. The top picture is similar to what mine looks like at the mo, but never really fancied getting the hose out on the engine TBH!!
Think it may be my tyres causing the chips (Pirelli P-Zeros), they do seem to pick up every little stone going, and you can sometimes here the bottom of the doors getting pebble-dashed while driving
......which is nice
Cheers
