Looks just how i thought it would!!!

I was going to go and watch the rally but couldn't get enough interest when i posted on on here about it.

Got to friday morning of the rally and got the bug again. tried to get flights etc for the following morning, getting there was fine but couldn't get back until tues night and so proved a no go.

i will definitley be going next year, perhaps you give me some more specific detail like were to stay etc.....

i will start the arrangments a little earlier this time!!!!

Videos are superb.

Anyone know what these were captured on. I would presume a Digital Video Camera rather than 8MM.

It would be cold, but I would love to be there to watch someday....

It was the SecretAgentMan 'imself who risked his neck shooting those vids...4 feet from the road. (And yes....it was feckin cold)

I used a Sony DCR-PC4E (one of those small DV camcorders), and firewired the data down to the pooter with Ulead Videostudio 5.0 (fuggin irritating app...but it was free...).

All in all, quite easy, and the camera IS lovely, S-video straight from it to the telly is stunning, we're talking DVD quality.
