Thanks Robert, I have not got the car back yet but when I do I will post some much better pictures.

Thanks also Mark, The parts are original P1 parts. I had an accident 2 months ago which damaged the old front bumper, lights, grille etc. The bodyshop my car is in have replaced the old bumper etc with P1 parts because by the time they had imported the Sti parts cost would have not been much different. I am very pleased with the results and should be getting the car back next Friday. A Wrc back spoiler will also be fitted. I dont think you can buy the parts without owning a P1 but the bodyshop was a Subaru dealers so they got around it.
Thanks
CJ

Question

SO?
Does that mean that out there somewhere is a main dealer willing to work on 'greys', and whats more use 'uk'car parts on them?
I'm not being spiteful, just asking!

CJEN

You must be well pleased. The car looks freakin marvellous!

Now all you need are some nice 18" wheels and that spoiler and you'll be there.

Well done mate.

Regards
Kurt

Thanks kurtw and Subie Gal . I have been without the car for 2 months so can not wait to drive it . Kurtw have you got the 18" wheels on your P1? If so what does it drive and ride like? I would be very tempted by 18", definately look good but does it effect the car on bumpy B roads? I can see that if you are on track alot it would be a definate improvement.
Thanks

Hi CJEN

I do indeed have the 18" wheels. Most people don't beleive that they actually improve the ride quality. This being something to do with a different sidewall construction on the P-Zero's.

Apparently, the wheels won't fit on a scoob with anything other than P-Zero's as anything else fouls the wheel arches. I'd go for the gold ones if I were you. Your car already looks great with gold wheels, so would look good with the 18's.

Here's a piccy of my car with the 18" wheels on.

Merry Christmas to you all.
Kurt

Question

Do you know if the body shop had any problems putting the P1 bumper onto the car? I was thinking about putting it on my Terzo but mine's a 98' model. Can anyone help me on this?
CJEN - Top motor mate - Not sure about the yellow magic tree though!

Thanks for the info kurtw . I would have liked my SuperTurismo Evolutions in 18"s but they dont do them do they? Your car looks amazing from the pic . Do you know of any other suitable Gold 18" wheels? I will probably keep the ones I have got for now as I only brought them about 3 months ago.
Hope you had a good Christmas.
CJ

Hi Gordon
The bodyshop said they had to put new air ducts behind the P1 front bumper because they are different to the ones I had on there. Other than that I dont think there was much of a problem. I did have new lights and a new style grille put on at the same time so I dont know if you would need the grille as well. The lights are the same size so dont need changing unless you want too.
You may mock the magic tree but I am told it adds between 10-15 bhp .
Thanks
CJ

Hi

The 18" P1 wheels are available in Gold as well.

If you're along to Donnington at the weekend, you're bound to see some.

Regards
