These were taken with a Cannon EOS300V using a 75-300 lens and Fuji Superia 400 ASA film

I think the GT40 was a replica, twas on a Q plate, the Mexico had a cossie lump in it

I think I've got a few of the 'X' plater, picking the photos up tonight, hopefully uploaded to the web site this weekend, so keep a lookout for them (assuming the quality isn't too bad!)

Congratulations mate. Hope you enjoy it as much as JDM. Its an amazing piece of kit. Worryingly my Dad drove it after doing some gearbox work on it for JDM. My father being the master of understatement said it was "scarely quick"

hehe, I was 7 when those photo's were taken

I'm more of a mkII fan myself but the mkI's do still look awesome There's a load competing at the Robin Hood rally over the weekend, there's a thread in motorsport

Tony, good to see that the haircut has not changed in all these years.

I started many years ago with a MK 1 escort. Like the top picture I also had to put some concrete in the boot to hold it down.
