Yeah! I posted you a couple questions about em actually. Are they Anthracite? Have you noticed any difference in weight / handling / performance over the standard wheels? Are you at the Surrey meet on Sunday?

Ed, sorry didn't I answer your questions, sorry bout that been off line a lot due to house move and time off...
They are considerably lighter than the OE 17"s, definitely made the steering lighter, and the car handles well, although I had the Eibach's put on not long after so can't really tell you how much better the handling is from the wheels alone. The car seems pretty well set up now, even Nito liked it when he drove it.
They are gun metal (i think thats the colour, or it might be called titanium, Trouser will help you there), they are NOT anthracite though, that was a lot darker.
I will be there on Sunday, and have updated page 3 with details of the pub.
Rgds, Alex

Alex, no problem mate, thanks for the reply!
Gun metal, eh? Am in dialogue with Trouser so will ask...don't think I want em any darker than that! Its for a DGM so wanted a little darker than silver.
Have you been on any bumpy b-roads with current setup? Standard setup is too floaty for my liking, but don't want to go TOO far in opposite direction and become skittish / bottoming out.

Ed,
I drive mainly bumpy B roads to and from work, and when I go out and about at weekends, I'd say its perfect for that (although GX dampers are slightly softer than WRX ones). My other half used to complain about the P1 suspension being too hard, but she thinks the eibachs n 17"s are perfect! And I find it great on b-roads.
See you sunday,
Rgds, Alex
