Cheers Guys!

The car was broken up!

ptholt has most of the performance bits!
Danny has my Morettes!
The spoiler and interior was sold to a friend who has since traded in his car at B&C!!
Wheels are on Rambo's car!
Many bits went on to Moe's car! RIP!
Mr Stocker has that lovely Titanium exhaust!!
Jay has my old SS backbox!
Sith has my old centre senction!
Mark Khan has the Defi's!

And the car was sold to a nice chap (whose name I've forgotten) in Newcastle! (along with a full Scoobysport system, Prodrive suspension and Nitosport Carbon interior!)

So I still see bits of my car around!!

Blimey! A year already!

I'd forgotten how nice your car looked, particularly the interior? How much did you sell it for in the end? Has someone on here got it?

Thumbs up

I've probably got you to thank for spending £££'s on my car Andy, so I'm not going to be welcoming you back to Scoob ownership in a hurry

You managed 340bhp out that Golf yet?

Andy, you are STILL the daddy of the PIMPS.

This was one of the cleanest scoobs I have seen, and I have seen a few.

Catch up soon.

Cool

Andy,

It is a shame I never got a ride in that car. It might have given me more ideas for mine!

When you get the next car, if you ever can actually decide on one for more than three seconds, I want to be near the top of the list!

The interior was from a good friend of mine called Nito.

You can find him here: Nitosport

Coming up for 2 years since I had to sell mine so I sympathise! I went from the Scoob to a 75hp Vento Diesel ...

... getting slightly better now as I traded the Vento for a Mk2 Golf GTI. Still not a Scooby though!

Luckily I replaced mine with a mk2 big bumper Golf GTI 8v (better than the 16v IMHO)

Although I can't see myself still using it in a years time unless I do something radical with the performance/engine!!

Mate it was awesome but you need a new challenge! How about the new "W12" engine into the Golf!!! (Don't let Pat see this thread)

And anything I've forgotten was bought by Dyney!!
ROTFLMAO

I've lost count
Momo gear ****,
APS dump valve,
Battery cover
and umbrella

Do I still owe you for something
You should have been at the Surrey meet 'cos I've gone and spent it now

Iain.

Yep, can't beat a good late bumper 8v as a reliable, economical and reasonably quick daily driver. Getting harder and harder to find a good 'un though, but after a bit of searching I picked up a 2-owner rust-free '91 historied 3-door with 89k on the clock.

So far have not done much other than de-badge it and fit a decent set of tyres. Might be a G60 spec. brake conversion on the cards if I can pick up all the bits for under £200, and probably a "sensible" suspension kit at some stage.

Know what you mean about the performance though. 20 valve turbo conversion maybe?

Andrew

I'm thinking about removing the adjustable dampers and lowered springs from my car, if that's of any interest?

Hmm! Might well be of interest as I am currently musing over a few different suspension options.

What brand are the springs and dampers? Any idea of the mileage that the car has done on them?

Cheers, Andrew.
