After what seemed like an eternity, collection day arrived yesterday for my 2009 Spec C in Star Silver.
The car is bog standard except for a set of Enkei 17" alloys shod with Dunlop winter tyres.
A few years without a Subaru makes you forget how expensive Vpower is at motorway services.
I bought the car from JDM Imports in Coventry, and can't fault the owner, Mo, throughout the whole process if honest.
The car was auction grade 3.5, but I think anything over 150k km is set to that level. It has full Jap service history, two keys and in overall very good condition inside & out, except for a little sun damage to the rear spoiler paint.
So, an early morning Easyjet flight from Glasgow to Birmingham, and a 10 min train ride to Coventry made collection a piece of cake. All that remained was the small matter of a 510km drive back North of the wall with no cruise Control and not many creature comforts .
After just over 5hrs and a 5 minute splash & dash for fuel around Carlisle I had made it home.
Still daylight when i arrived home, so a few pics taken before i satrt tinkering with things.
