cheers John. I have had the evo for coming on 4 years now having imported from japan. it’s also the GT variant so comes with full RS drivetrain etc. I do much prefer it, If I'm honest the subaru was an itch I wanted to scratch, the subaru does sound and look amazing but I feel the evo does everything just a little bit better. (Subaru owners don’t kill me) I’m glad I have done it but I would also be silly to keep two similar cars! I will probably move on to a more sensible car and possibly look into a cheap track day car as it’s something I have yet to experience

Mel is an evo girl, her dream car (well, one of them) is and evo5 or 6. I'm in for the Dream Car Giveaways one. Keep telling her to sell the S3 and get her dream car but daily-ing either my scooby or an Evo would be a bit silly. But if I got one for £20 she could daily it rightly

Id still choose the scooby though, dont care what you say 😜

I think GT model evo the OP has is a very desirable model to so it’s no surprise he prefers it to the Subaru.

I have a 9GT and Spec C Type RA.

The GT is a much more comfortable experience compared to the RA (for obvious reasons I guess). If it's just me looking to blow off the cobwebs, I'll take the RA. If it's family going for a jolly, we'll take the GT.

This might change when the GT comes back from Engine Tuner with a 2.3 build

Samy888 - is yours the yellow GT with the Gruppe M intake? I've just ordered one after seeing yours And one for the RA too.

thanks mate, I do get what you mean. I do prefer the overall drive of the evo, I also get what you mean it’s a more comfortable & easier place to sit especially when going on road trips lol also yes mine is the yellow GT with gruppe M. Can’t beat a bit of engine bay carbon, You will not be disappointed!

Hi mate,

Lovely car!

Could you find out the ET of the speedlines? And they clear the brembos without spacers, right? I really want a set of these!
