Default After over 5 years...the WRX has been replaced

So after years of WRX ownership and waiting for just the right car to come along it’s finally mine... this WRX STi Spec C Type RA

its not standard but I think the modifications do it justice, car is an absolute rocket compared with the WRX!

I thought it was 400 also! Even better! I’ve never been keen on the rear lights but they sort’ve sit nicely against the white. Plenty years of ownership to change should I feel the need though

Nice car but I agree, ditch the rear lights. I had those on my white JDM blob and switched them for a set of the correct lights, its looks a million times better,

Does anyone know if the lights came on that car? And what’s with the Hawkeye boot too? None of which matter to me at the moment, can’t see them from inside

No, it would have had the earlier (and better IMO) blob rear lights not the Halfords designed hawkeye lights!

If it were a hawk bootlid it would have a square boot lock. I'd suggest that was the original blob boot with the later Subaru badge stuck on.

Looks lovely this car. So nice.

Lovely looking car, I'm not familiar with this model but there's nothing on it that looks out of place or garish in my eyes.

Enjoy

I thought the square boot lock was the change on the 2004 cars, from them being round on the 2003 car

nice car BTW

Looks stunning, but yeh id change they lights, boot looks like it has a hawk badge stuck too it the boot should be alloy though if its correct and its missing its ‘type ra’ badge off it.

Its also not the correct wheels for it.
Great cars though I love mine and missing it now its tucked away for winter.
Yip only 300 of these were made, quite a rare car.

Finally got the car today! I’ve ordered a Type ra badge for the boot, just to remind myself what it is. The bumper alignment etc has been sorted out, maybe I can use the number to check what it actually is, not that I doubt them at all.

I have engineering workshop envy. You don't want to see the state of our workshop where I work! lol.

Can't be 5S'd as I see no floor marks around machines, operating instructions clearly mounted by each piece of equipment, shadow boards holding essential tools and all the other tosh that goes with 5S lean *****. lol

I have bought an exterior modification already, but it’s only the spec c Type ra badge for the boot, other than that it’s staying as is!

In all fairness it is at a college, I teach Engineering. So not as messy as your typical workshop, as for 5S, not yet as we don’t have the time but we do have some lean areas.
