STI Ver 5 Type R- making it mine
I've recently bought one of the best Type R's in the country in my opinion and it's time to put my stamp on it. Thankfully I've owned many scoobies to date and all of them have been in outstanding condition :-)
With all this being said I need to add my own touches so I wanted to start this thread so I could keep you updated with progress.
Fitting this week
STI McGard wheel nuts
HKB boss
Personal steering
I'm looking for the following item if anyone can help me out.
CF RCM reverse bonnet scoop
Cheers
Phil

Why not leave it in the perfect show car condition that it is?

Agreed on the mirrors :-)
I think the reverse RCM scoop colour coded would look awesome on it?

I've done the flat vent on my old car and decided against it on the current car, as the scoop flows better with the look on the classic

Have to agree, looks good as it is. Thought about an oil cooler under the scoop area maybe (if you're trying to justify it's existance)
Only thing I'd do to that is paint the wheels a bronze colour.

Not a fan of the wheels colour.
Gold or anthracite for me on a gun metal car.
Other than that it looks mint

Thought about the reverse scoop myself but came to the conclusion that the oem scoop plays such an important part of the lines of the car I dismissed it.
Look for some S 201 mirrors Phil they are the WRC teardrop mirrors but Subaru OEM so are a direct replacement and very high quality.
