Thumbs up Humble and original MY99 Impreza Turbo 2000

Hi guys, I had a spare afternoon so I did a little photoshoot of my Turbo 2000.

Modifications: Upgraded Prodrive exhaust and panel filter.

Everything else original and standard

I hope you all enjoy the pictures.

Looks very clean for a UK car. Do you have plans for it?

Love a nice standard 2000! An old boy around my way has a standard mica example, they still look good today IMO

Thanks. She's well looked after . I plan an Ecutek remap eventually for some more power which will take her from 215bhp to 275ish bhp. Other than that, nothing else.

Lovely example is this,it's not changed since you owned it last time, pretty lucky to get it back in the same condition tbh.
Must say it will be a very different car to drive when you unleash the extra power

Back out of storage and given a good clean... going to get it back on the road as my daily within the next couple of months when I sell my other car.

I managed to buy some rally spec 16" Speedline alloys that were a dealer upgrade at the time. I also tracked down a set of "new old stock" original Turbo 2000 carpet mats . The gold wheels gives it that extra bit of colour which is what I was after and makes it stand out a little more.

Like the gold wheels. Really good to see one with no crust around the arches!

looks lovely in standard form.

is it a MY98 or MY99?

as I thought the alloys had changed for the MY99

Exactly the same as mine that I bought brand new in 99 after waiting 6 months for it.
Sold mine for another scoob after 6 years and 90k miles later. Owned scoobs now for nearly 20 years. One day I'll buy a sensible car

And the mirrors give it away as well: MY00 added colour coded ones.

There's still a few of us out there, 72k on mine. I did swap the grey leather for a set of STi5 seats last year but have it in storage to go back in.
