Default Blob Widetrack Spec C Type RA (proper pics)

Finally managed to get out and get some half decent pics of the RA this evening. Unfortunately the pictures are too large to use the quick upload so I'm having to go through Photobucket. Please bear with and keep checking as I'll be uploading a fair few

Get some performance Creations Mini Mud Flaps ASAP or your doors are going to get goosed. Trust me the paint on these is a joke and normal road driving will rash the hell out of them They look really good

These are the classic ones. They are constantly re listing but the newage ones arent on there atm. Last time I bought them I just messaged Ian and he made me some up Same price IIRC Send them a message and ask for the Kaylan Mini Flaps for a new age, they are awesome

Wheels are going in to be refurbed next week. What do you guys think, standard colour or anthracite? You could opt for the wheels to be silver or anthracite from the factory so either choice would be factory spec. I'm torn!

If you're willing to wait 6 months or so, you can have this one

I'm having mine refurbished from silver to anthracite. Saw a photo from a US forum and another from a brochure I stumbled across online. Mad me make my mind up.

Ordered my mini mudflaps, but I'm not happy. It states when you order them (and you don't get a choice) that postage is a 48 hour courier for £6.95......fair enough. However, I recieved an email from them telling me that all their mudflaps are "made to order" and this takes 5-7 working days! So £6.95 for 48 delivery, but they take 5-7 days to make. At no point during the order process does it tell you this. Sent them an email this evening so hopefully hear back from them tomorrow.

Spoke to Ian at Performance Creations ref the postal issue, you were indeed correct, very pleasant chap and a pleasure to deal with. Not often you get good customer service these days so big shout out to Ian and I thoroughly recommend anyone to buy their mudflaps from him!

Update on the car.......wheels are in being refurbed, I decided to stay with silver in the end as I couldent be sure I'd like the anthracite, plus I feel the silver really shows off the shapes and style of the of the alloys. Should get the car back tomorrow, then fit the mini mudflaps. I've also got 2 new rear arch extensions on order as the ones on there at the mo are looking very tatty, so I though 'new wheels + new mudflaps + new arches = job done"

Excellent, bodyshop lost my rear two so I rang him on the off chance he would do just the rears for me. Sorted over the phone in 5 mins at a very reasonable price and received today

Kalyan mini-mudflaps fitted. Very easy to fit and look good to. Most importantly though, should massively reduce stonechips, winner!!!

Weekend update....

Recently had the wheels refurbed in the original smoked chrome type colour (or near as damnit!). Great work as always from Alloy Art in Rochford. Also had a cambelt change and service at Xtreme Scoobies in Chelmsford (01245 363623). Got the wheels home and sealed them all, also gave the calipers and inner arches a good clean, then the rest of the car got a last good clean before I give it a full detail in a few days. The paint has swirl marks but nothing that isn't easily fixable with a good cut!
