Had my car a few years now and intending to keep it for a while yet..

Nice classics seem to be getting rare on the roads and I'm now thinking it might be time for original alloys?

What do we think?

MY00 STI V6 in a very rare colour for an Sti saloon, 70k miles and all old MOT's, been here since it was nearly new too and loads of history.

Always intended to keep it for investment and part of me now if thinking it may be as well to return it to standard.



Although, I've always loved the 22b style vents.



I have already removed the AP brakes, reinstated the orange indicators (front and side)

Maybe I should just collect standard bits and squirrel them away for the future?

 

I think that looks fantastic as it is! Maybe collect the standard bits like you say, but leave it as it sits for me

 

Might be the best option, I do like the look myself.

I still kick myself for messing with the original decals on the fog covers! Original were all white and mint and I stupidly removed them and fitted the ones above. I don't know why I had it in my head they should be like above then shortly after realised I'd stripped off the original decals and wish I hadn't!

The current wheels aren't offensive and certainly look as though they should be there.

What are the standard wheels? 5 spoke?

Is that rear spoiler stock? I'd say that looks more out of place than the wheels.

 

Stock wheels would be 5 spokes being JDM.

Yes the spoiler is original STI V6 with the extra up turn to it, was always meant to be.

 

Ahhh, that's why the spoiler looks different. The angle of the blade.

I'd leave it as is, it looks great. Perhaps go back to the white stickers on the fog covers.
