Very nice!
Are the leather seats available as an option from the U.K dealers?

I believe they might be, however this is how the car came to me from the dealer. I haven't added anything to it.

Nice colour....why they call it blue'/black?? Can't see any blue in there...does it come out in bright light???

Has it been de-badged on purpose.....You may have a factory experiment on your hands...leather, no badges...

Are their logos in the engine bay and on the tacho???

Yea the red light is part of the alarm/immobiliser.

Thank you for the praise, I think the Leather seats are fantastic, the quality of stiching etc is amazing.

Here's another pic of those awesome seats.

Wink

I think you should be pretty pleased with your unique scooby.

The leather seats make the car look more classy. However, make sure all the ppl in the back seats buckle up when you take them out for a spin, unless you want to play pinball with the passengers.

Also watch out for putting large objects in the boot, I can see you will be cursing the mounting position of the CD unit in the boot. I had my unit placed under the front passenger seat.

WJW - thanks for the advice i'll keep an eye out for objects in the boot. Difficult placing the satnav & cd/dvd player aswell. The kids hace already found out the seats are slippery!!!!!

Hawkeye

2 ideas for the MR(S)6000 installation after we fitted it to our demo.

We fitted the head unit in the lower slot so that it didn't cover the facia vents with the screen out and the Cd stack unit as well as the Sat Nav controller were both fitted under the seats and just velco'd to the carpet. The mats then protect them from damage.

Nice car!

Regards

Mike

Sorry to dig this up out of the past, but I finally found out that I can get the same leather seats in the sedan, but not the wagon. This has been the final decision maker between getting a sedan or wagon, so I should be placing my order this week. It will cost 1500 USD which is about 982 GBP. Is there anybody who has ordered the option there to tell if this seems out of line?

What a blast,

Went down to Donnington on friday (25th) rained all morning and then dried up at lunch. Nice to see Docjock down there flying round.

For my first time I think I did reasonably well 1m 34s was my best lap time, how does this compare? It'd be interesting to see.

Got some awesome footage of my car against some real brutes.

Sample lineup 2x500+ bhp Escort cossies, 360 modena 911 turbo, GT2 Maserati 3200GT BMW M5 Escort Turbo Diesel?

The bit where we catch the 360 down pit straight and then take him round the following bend is probably my groundhog day, or was it not letting the Audi RS4 get away, or seeing and filming the Maserati driver Blow something as we went for it.

I couldn't believe the difference between the car in the wet and dry, very very UNPREDICTABLE in the WET but incredible in the DRY, the tyres and testament to that fact.

I even had the guy in the 911 turbo come over and ask what the hell is in that thing. Possibly due to me doing 135mph coming down to the chicane before pit lane and OUTBRAKING him in a cloud of brake dust. hehehehe. (cheers falkland the DS2500's do work)

m8 lose the white reflectors and go for carbon with either smoked or clear indicators. Is that an STI 7 BB ? It looks oval rather than round?

Yeah I thought about the warranty issue a lot and well sometimes you just gotta have a blast. Once in a lifetime chance to get taught by a professional driver.

Hopefully warranty ok?

No the BB isn't a standard one it is oval(Prodrive version)

Question

Hawkeye, you're a lucky man.

Your leather seats look great.

In France, no dead pedal like yours !

What's the red light at the left of the clock ? Alarm ?

Mike,
Thank you for the information/ideas I think i'll go back to my dealer and look at the install again.

A comment of " Nice Car " from yourself really means a lot to me especially with your position at prodrive it's gratifying to hear good comments.

This is a post I'll cherish. (yeah kiss ***, sad git whatever) it means a lot to me.

Thank you once again

Hawkeye

ps oh man my comments about the ppp pack, boy do I feel about 2" tall at the moment (no trouser jokes please) maybe I'm not that disheartened with prodrive after all. What a tangled web we (I) weave!!
