So I've been and bought it! Not much recent proof of history outside a few receipts for oil. Got proof of full rebuild at 66k (2008) it's now done 107k. Going to give it a full service (cambelt etc) to be safe. Goes really well although being used to a tdi golf it's bound to feel quick. But of rot around the boot and inner rear wing but I think I've caught it just in time, pretty handy with a mig so doesn't concern me to much. My plan is 100% original, not the usual choice I imagine but for me it's plenty quick enough. If anyone has any original parts let me know I'll put and wanted ad up. More pics to follow.
