Default 700bhp 10 second hawkeye, jap show finale winner

1st time out in the car on full chat last weekend at santapod, japshow finale, car won its class with the fastest Subaru of the day, not bad to say I had not driven it hard or even launched it until the day, and the car is in full trim, all seats, stereo etc
Not bad for a lardy newage with an old over weight rusty driver
I'm pretty sure with some practice and some tweaking on the launch control it will be doing mid to low 10's
I did 2 runs both 10.9 seconds with 1.8 and 1.9 sec 60foot times so loads more in it.

More pics on 2nd page

Below is a vid of one run, click on the pic to view.

Its got proper launch control via syvecs ecu, builds 1.4 bar, so its a case of foot to floor for a couple of seconds then let off the clutch sharp.

What rpm?
I was up there on the Saturday. I run Syvecs too, L/C set at 4600 building boost up to 0.6 bar, 60ft times of 1.7, and low 12 et's.
I tried launching at 4800 and it got consistently slower.
I'm not *****-waving, just interested in different launch methods.

Cant remember what rpm its set at, its too high tho tbh, hence the crap 60ft times, its something like 5800 rpm, i need to learn how to use the syvecs software so i can adjust my self as my mapper was not there.
Loads more to come from the car with some fine tweaking and some weight reduction (mainly me lol)

Absolute weapon, I would not strip out, love to see it with a standard front end and some speedline turinis. We need more 10 second road cars.

That is stunning, the only thing I'd change would be the wheels!

How come you might be selling it?

Ha sounds familiar.
Well let me know as I will hopefully have bought a bigger house by that point
And the wife did say "once you have bought a bigger house you can have any car you want" silly girl
Theres already a standing order set up to an account she can't see on the internet banking

Glad all that work was worth the wait, now loose some weight and go faster

Awesome!

Although personally, I think the wheels don't look great. But each to their own.
