Quick tip for you mate.....
Stick some WRX droplinks on it. Instant 2 seconds off your quarter mile time.

I have been reading those tips with interest, I think if I junk my 6 speed I may even improve my 1.6 second 60 foot times to.

if you fitter a stiffer arb not only will you run 10 seconds you will get 40 mpg

But in answer to your question yes you can add ballast & weight to agricultural by filling tyres with liquid , it's usually water+ antifreeze tho ,, google it
Tyre company's have recommendations & some tractor company's advise it in certain situations like " John Deere "
