New Blob on the block
New to the Scoob Family, I'm in the Aberdeen area.
I've been dreaming about one of these since the day they came out. The situation was never right to get one, but...
I finally manage to put my greedy hands on one a couple of weeks ago.

I'm now starting to discover the amazing world of detailing, I will post new pictures after a good clean.

I've taken it for the 70,000miles service at Brian Downie Garage here near Aberdeen.
It was a big relief to find that the car is actually in pretty good conditions, when I saw the car I liked it so much that I decided to buy it on the spot. Actually I think that could have been a big mistake, but I was lucky enough. Thanks God everything is good.
So, new engine oil, transmission oil and rear diff. New spark plugs and general overall check.
Last Saturday:
- good wash
- clay bar
- re-wash
- Soft99 wax
- finished off with C2V3
- (my harm still hurts )
By the time I finished it was dark, so I thought I'll take pictures tomorrow... on Sunday it was raining, off course...
Yesterday quick wash and I used some C2V3 for drying, the results are below (rims are still very dirty, but I was not in the mood for going too crazy, I had enough the week before).
The car is pretty much stock (and I like it this way).
Direct intake
BC coilovers
Prodrive exhaust 2.5in
If the BC coilovers will get too squeaky I will replace them with something as close as possible to stock.
Maybe with better hydraulics, but with softer/taller springs.
I think for the Scottish roads lowered/stiff suspensions are probably worse than something softer.
Yesterday I also fixed the radio, the signal was almost non-existent.
I thought it was the antenna amplifier and sure enough the power supply was disconnected.
Plugged it in and now it works fine.
