Looking for pictures of black classics as majority seem to be white, blue, red or green

Love them in black. I'd like to paint my V6 STi mica black.

Does seem a rare colour, not sure it's true but I did read that the Japanese don't like black as it's considered unlucky. Or it might have been that white was considered lucky.

That V3 looks awesome in black.. does look really good on a classic if the paints spot on but nothing worse than a tired swirly black car :-(

I think it's because (Championship) White is Japan's traditional racing colour - so fair to assume the indig. pop. prefer that colour to others.

As an example, back in the day there were 'loads' of black Nissan Pulsars grey imports i.e. thus retaining the treasured white ones in the homeland. You could almost count on one hand the amount of white ones in this country.

My Mica Black Version 3 STi.

I am gutted that I couldn't keep it along with the Version 6 STi Ltd that replaced it, have always wanted a Mica Black Classic... just not quite as much as I've wanted a Sonic Blue Classic!!
