hi lads this is my 1.5 2 door scooby very rare so im told

thanks handy to know my plan was to get a donar car transfer everything over but its so cheap to run having second thoughts

Gotta say that's a very nice classic, and yes there very rare only ever seen one in UK before, and that was vinyl wrapped in white, that's only other one I've heard of.

Only advise is don't touch it, unless its a 2.0 turbo conversion, which on most i'd say don't bother, but on that can only see it increasing the value

yeah was going for a v3 sti engine but alot work involved

Was intrigued when I saw one of these in Wilton car park in Cork, thought it was a type r till I saw the rear drums! looked very similar to this one in fact with red rums and v6 spoiler..

How much did you buy it for may I ask?

Type r shell's sell for £2500+ so that's a good start, if you ended up spending £2500 on engine still think it be worth 5k, type r's are going up and up in price 6k+

will post some more pics up later i got it for a good price mate but most i have spoke to have said there is alot of work involved to put the sti running gear into and its so cheap to run as it is dont know what to do with it

Hi mate, I have a 1.5 impreza and have done this conversion. its not to bad of a job to do. just make sure you keep the donor car till the end. Good luck

Wow first time I have come across a 2dr like this... To be honest I thought you were joking on the thread about it being a 1.5 I thought it was a stock STi R and maybe had engine problems hence the 1.5 but obviously not!

Looks a tidy motor.
