Thanks gents.
Not too much on the agenda, as the car has had some mods by previous owner.
Just ordered: Double Din DVD w/Bluetooth upgrade. Now my phone will work in the car and cheaper than installing a dedicated Parrot (or other bluetooth handsfree).
Also ordered a dash cam (£16!! Full HD), similar to a post previously on scoobynet. When I am driving, it just records on a rolling cycle. Therefore, any numpty that pulls out in front of me, I can prove it was not my fault, instead of being stereotyped by the "look" of the car. I happen to drive like Miss Daisy most of the time.

Thanks, folks. Couple of replies:
@neil-h: Didnt know they came with a Front Splitter? If the front was any lower, I would keep catching it on curbs and my driveway = bitter sweet?
@salsa-king: What model is the car? I just put MY08 as that is when it was built, is it 2007?
@bustaMOVEs: It is a genuine GB270, Number 78 (I think from memory). It is not a wide track dccd. The GB is (I believe) basically a WRX with £7.5k worth of extras (RRP). I read that somewhere on the internet, so must be true. Includes, ECU upgrade, suspension, Xenons (cannot recall what else), as well as only being 300 produced.
Cheers.

Yup They don't seem to stand a chance at the standard ride height, so lower the car and you'll have to be seriously careful not to lose it.
Also, you're right about the GB270 being a tarted up hawk WRX ppp.

I am the previous owner of this scoob and it is a 2008 check your documents I bought the number plate as my name is Russ and the rest is short for scoob.
I spent a small fortune on this car every mod you see us what I had done except for the bit you have mentioned. You have no doubt that this scoob has been very well looked after I never drove it in the winter and every 3500-4000 miles I had it serviced using gulf competition oil and always ran she'll v-power.
I always used Maguires cleaning products and the 2 bucket method when cleaning and that was done twice a week depending on the weather lol.
It made 346 bhp mapped by Duncan Graham (Race dynamix )
Anything you need to know about just give me a shout mate.
Just out of interest why was it being ran on the rolling road and what did it make??

Hawks came in MY06 and MY07 few subtle changes the small trim at the side of the front bumper the rear lights went satin chrome to chrome, just a small facelift but enough to merit a new MY but MY08 is a hatch. Also dropped crystal grey and as mine went to Urban grey.

Thanks for your post and very kind of you to pass on historical knowledge of the vehicle. I think that is always a concern of a new owner is the history and from the sounds of things, it has been very well looked after indeed, which does show from the condition.
Fantastic car and always receives complementary comments. Very enjoyable to drive, when it does get driven. This car is only driven about once a month (and whenever there is a scooby meet with Scoobybits Subaru Club Cornwall). Most of the time it is stored in the garage with a cover and hooked up to a solar trickle charger. And... funnily enough, Maguires products used too. I have done around 1k miles in about 5 months and have not yet had a January drive.
I thought I would get more use out of it than I currently do, and while I am very happy with it, may look to sell it on if I do not get more use out of it in the summer as it is a shame not to be used.
As I purchased it from the Main Dealer, being the meticulous person I am, I took it to Alan Jeffery (who is about 300 yards from my house!) for a once over as being the type of car it is, I wanted to ensure there was nothing obviously out of the ordinary, to which it was given a clear bill of health.
Yes, says 2008 on the Log book, and jazzyjembreaze is quite right. If searching for extras, I always need to search for a 2006/2007 hawkeye, otherwise I get the hatchback parts, which is no good.
Thanks,
Jay.
