Default What happened to Moley's old STI8 I hear you say......

Well in short I been making it my own Got to apologise in advance as I'm no good at writing threads.

Had it for nearly 6 months now and absolutely love it!!

Bit of before and after but as you all know it's never finished!

Fitted RCM headers and up pipe and took it to Martyn at enginetuner for a full map. Started off at 389bhp

Ended up like this! Car is totally different, transformation is amazing!

Now well happy with the performance, It's onto the styling!

Engine bay when i picked it up

Had most of the plastics hydro dipped and added silicone hose kit and a load of Perrin styling parts. Looks 100 times better.. (please excuse the coke bottle cap lol)

Had the grille hydro dipped and wing mirror caps in black with gold carbon film. Also a set of hella's.

Next up Interior, The car already has lovely WR1 seats and back carpet so all I wanted to do was update it abit with the following..
Widetrack cente console
Nardi wheel (not genuine)
Toucan

couple of show off pics lol

No doubt more to be continued lol

looking good,

one question... why would you remove the air bag? surely it's a step backwards on safety, your head would hit the steeringwheel.

Was the power increase just due to shopping over to RCM headers and a map tweak?

If so, tha my mind made up on them.

Yes it was quite laggy and was told to try RCM headers and it was certainly worth it on this car. Gained good torque and spools up earlier, my advice if going over 400 then get some!

Thank you all for your great comments. She is a beauty!
