WRX STI V4
Having got rid of my stage 3 Astra VXR over a year ago, ive been wanting a fast/performance car ever since. This was my VXR, they get slated a lot but be honest i thought it was a brilliant car, i never showed it any corners but maybe because you always have the thought this car cant handle haha.
So just over a week ago i purchased this of a friend, underneath is amazing, better than most new cars. Does have a few tiny paint work issues but that isn't a problem as my dad is a car sprayer, and most prob will give it a full respray (staying black)
Some pictures
and a list of mods so far on the vehicle
3" haywood&scott de-cat down pipe
2.5" haywood&scott centre pipe and back box
Toyo sports front mount intercooler
HKS Super power flow induction kit
TD05 16g front entry turbo
HKS SSQV dump valve
Breather delete induction pipe
Oil catch can
Parallel fuel lines
Phase 2 440cc injectors
Fuel lab fuel pressure regulator
Welbro 255lph fuel pump
Apexi AVCR boost controller
5kg lightweight flywheel
White samco style water hoses
Whiteline 22mm RARB
Whiteline front and rear anti-roll bar drop links
Whiteline anti-lift kit
Japspeed H brace
Standard STI 4pot callipers with EBC discs and pads
Newage red SRI shocks and prodrive springs
I have been told to get this mapped ASAP, been emailing scoobyclinic. I thought it was just simple as a map haha, but now i have been told it will need a mappable ECU as well which obviously dents my funds a little bit more for further modfications. Overall very happy with the car though

Thanks guys. Yea am enjoying it. It gets the heads turning. Whether there thinking nice scooby or look at that d*** i dont know haha. To be honest ive never been into subaru apart from the wr1. But soon as i seen this and went in it. I loved it. I just love how you can floor it in first and second with no problems. Where as my vxr just wheel span for about 3years before getting traction. In talks with jolly green at the minute about options. Also scoobyclinic

scoobyclinic will try and sell you alcatek as yes its a good option, but also very expensive and they told me thay dont like esl, hmm wonder why haha, esl has very good reviews and can do alot more than an apexi ect, mafless, AL, LC just a few, personaly go with the esl around £600 supplied, fitted and mapped by Simon Roe JGM, or Duncan Graham Racedynamix.

A Black GC8 is what I like to see. Love the fact its nice and clean too as for some reason every time I've seen Black GC8s for sale or on the streets they either have been chaved out or were rough.
Your not far from me at all, would be nice to see it in the flesh one day
