Default Problem removing driver window switch plug

Having a problem in disconnecting the wiring plug on a 2005 sti, the drivers window is playing up so I want to remove the switches to clean them up, but however I try I cannot pull out the white wire plug, there seems to be two clips that I pull in to try and release the plug but it refuses to budge. Any tips on how to remove it before I damage it any more?

It's the long white plug, driving me mad!

ah ok, there seemed to be a cable tie in the middle which I was pushing but to no avail. Will have a look again once the feeling comes back in my fingers!

I had my bugeye switches out yesterday (had them out a few times before) and if its the same as the blobeye , its easy enough with that middle clip.
