Default Interior light not working except on drivers door

Doing my head in. Open the drivers door, interior light comes on (the dome light)

Open any of the other 3 doors, no light. Now I know the rubber plungers are probably at fault. Can I assume they are staying in depressed ( might give them some happy pills ) so the light is not being activated.

Is it a simple case of removing the rubber sleeve and giving them a bit of WD-40 ?

Mine only works off the drivers side doors, but, I need to check something when I get time, Chris.

Think mine is wiring related, nothing to do with the switches.

If it were mine, I'd start by removing one of the door switches, probably the passenger side, and examine the connectors and the switch.
A multimeter will help tell if the switch is sticking, once it's disconnected from the car.

Replacement switches ought not to be dear.

Turns out one of the plungers was disconnected from the inside. the spring nd plunger part had come loose so obviously no connection no light

and got a spare from ebay for the rear door. Now all 4 work, result
