Default abs and rear diff temp light delete from prodrive cluster

hello from richmond, va, usa.

have a v8 prodrive cluster and want to kill the abs and rear diff temp lights. want to snip input wire/ground or desolder light/ground. will tape over as a last resort.

any advice or wiring diagrams??

searched here, nothing here on nasioc.

car's a 03 wrx wrb wagon 205k miles on chassis.
v7 6 spd, 2.5l, 16g, gc 4 pot/2 pot, lots of suspension mods. car is DD and us rallycross. cobb pro tune to 356 ft/lbs at 3k rpm.

Thanks in advance.

you need to ground out the diff light and add a normally closed relay to the abs wiring

no you need to join a normally closed relay in the abs wire to make it work correctly.

Cut the wire from Pin B3 and left enough slack on both ends of the wire to reach a npormally closed relay. then solder in the wire going from the cluster plug to the switched side of the normally closed relay. The other end coming from the vehicle harness solder on to the coil side of the relay. After you have the wire you just cut soldered onto the relay you want to find a ground and a ignition + wires. The ground will go to the other side of the normally closed switched side of the relay, and the ignition + will go to the other side of the coil on the relay. and your done. To make sure this works turn your car on and unplug your abs fuse. your light should turn on.

found a normally open OR normally closed relay. It's a 12 v 15 amp miniature relay, cost $1 us. Shown in the pic pin side up.

I drew the schematic exact as shown on the part's web page:
http://microcontrollershop.com/produ...oducts_id=1954

Is this the correct way to wire:

Wire B3 plug/cluster side to #1 pin on relay
Wire B3 car side to #2 pin on relay
Car power to #3 pin on relay
Car ground to #4 pin on relay.
I assume pin #5 on relay is if you want a normally closed relay.
