Airbag Light on dash, need your help!!!
Hiya Guys,
I have a 2003 Blob Eye WRX, just wondered if you've come across airbag light on dashboard issues before.
My mate and I stuck on a sports cat yesterday but the dashboard was fine. Suddenly this morning when I turned the ignition on the airbag light stayed on thought it would go away if I turned it off but still stayed on when I turned it back on. I'm still familiarising myself with the car as it was a recent purchase so any advice is most welcome

Quite often its the wiring under the front seats that gets disturbed. Check theres nothing rolling around under there that could of caught on the wiring. You will need to plug in to a scanner to read and clear the code.

Cheers for your replies guys.
Strange but relieved. I fiddled about with wiring under the front seats made sure everything was connected properly then turned the key to first position lighting up the dash but not turning over, watched all the other lights go off left key in that position for about 2mins (past the 30sec window before immobiliser kicks in) then noticed the airbag light go off.
Now it goes off in sequence with the others every time I switch the ignition on. Hmmm. Do you think it still worth scanning to make sure there isn't anything to clear?
