Looks like I'm going to have to source a new headlight unit for my hawkeye impreza (passenger side). If anyone has one, or knows of anyone breaking a hawk, give me a shout

 

Why, what's gone wrong now?
How come you need a whole light. SURELY the parts are replaceable????

 

I had the light out last night. The unit is all misted up at the moment and to my horror, there's a big chunk of reflective plastic (that sits behind the indicator) that has snapped off inside the light. There's also some scrapes on the outside of the lense which leads me to believe it's been hit by something/someone. It may possibly be repairable, but tbh, I'm no good at that sort of stuff.
I might be best just cutting my losses and trying to source a second hand unit.

Wow, that ain't good.

Ring round a few breakers, but HID units are rare as hen's teeth.
