I think my ballast has packed in
I'm running a H7 kit on my P1 driving lights and one has decided to pack in all together and the other side works when it feels like it
Guessing the kit is out of warranty so looking for suggestions on a decent kit to replace it with
Cheers folks

First off, check all connections and the relay, if fitted, for signs of corrosion, bad/loose connection etc.
then swap the non working bulb to the working side: if it's still not working, it's the bulb, if it is now working, it's the ballast.

BTW: hundreds of other ballasts, bulbs etc to choose from. If you bouight from Aztec, they reckon to have good customer service, you could ask them?

I just checked the output voltage from the ballast. One was nearly 12v, the other was only 4v so guessing it's the ballast
Ballasts are both heavily corroded

Well Morimoto stuff is good, it's what I have on my headlamp projectors.
But it's going to cost you $200 to swap, and you already have a kit?
Why not just replace the parts of the kit you have? Or is there more to it?

Well think the other ballast is one its way out. With the kit being nearly two years old it may be better scrapping it and starting with a better set
