I have a switched live and earth running to the back of my boost gauge - the bulb has gone inside and I can see no way to open it to replace it, however there is a hole in the back which I could easily drop and LED through, I was thinking I could easily connect one up using the wires that are in place. Its been years since I did circuits, school in fact, but I seem to remember you need a resistor in there somewhere too? Can anyone give me a simple Maplins shopping list and a little guidance as to how to wire things up? Basic stuff when you know how I'm sure!

never mind - found my own answer in the shape of some LEDs with built in resistors for 12vDC
