As per the title, I've replaced the bulb and its blown again within a few weeks. My electrical know-how is limited to fitting head units and speakers... beyond that I'm clueless! Any suggestions?

 

Try an LED SMD bulb?

 

I've actually ordered one of these to put in, but I'm concerned that's working around the root problem rather than curing it?

 

It's a problem. And I don't know the solution, tbh. Our old Xantia that just went to the giant scrpayard in the sky, used to blow the n/s dip bulb about every twelve weeks. Meanwhile, the o/s one went once in ten years!

What to do? I just kept buying bulbs.......
