Reverse light

Reversing my sport to night and noticed the reverse light not work when I select reverse but just before it gos in too reverse light comes on but when it all the way in light gos out any one any ideas why ?

Check the wiring from the switch.

Switch may need to be adjusted on the gear linkage.
