Default Hi beam question

Hi I'm going to be converting my head lights to HID's by retrofitting some projectors but once I have done so I don't want my high beams to look so dull and non usable.. Has anyone got any preferences as to what high beam bulbs would be best to use.. I believe they are hb3 bulbs? My car is also a 2003 Wrx

Many thanks to any help

Try some of the so-called "uprated" bulbs?

There are some Ring 120% uprated ones on Amazon at about £13 a pair.

Are they the ring bulbs that looks like it has strips of LED's on them? Be kind of silly to uprate my low beam and not my high beam with it

Nope: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Ring-Xenon-U.../dp/B00603PCQS

Those are H7, but they do others.

AVOID the LED ones, their design will make it impossible to get proper beam control even if they are bright enough, which I doubt.
