Default !!!Need help fitting hand brake wire for stereo!!!

Can anyone give me a detailed description of how to wire my stereo screen wire so that my passengers can watch my tv in the back without having the handbrake up?? there is info online but i still dont understand!

just connect the handrake wire to an earth.
then it thinks handbrake is on and all functions work
