Default electric window wiring

guys help please, i bought a classic my99 subaru which had dented doors so i bought some new doors and fitted them, the front drivers door works fine but the rear door dont work i have checked all the wiring and changed the wiring from the old door and still doesnt work, i replaced the window motor with the one from the old door which worked fine but nothing. What seems to be happening is the drivers doors works fine if the button to stop the kids from opening the back windows is pressed in, but if i push that button out it kills my battery makes the drivers door work intermittently but none of the other windows and there is a clicking and you her it pulling constant power as the engine revs lower when i press this button out so it must be something to do with that i guess. has anyone come across this before or anyone have any idea of what i can do. i was just going to wedge the window up and just use the drivers but i would prefere it working.

Are you using the original switches, especially the driver's one on the arm-rest?

Might be worth substituting a known working one.....

Hello, how old is this thread? If solved how did you solve it, im having exact same problem with my 95 wagon wrx, passenger window is on permanently unless i take the switch off, now the motor or cogs are damaged and it drops down so i have to wedge it with wood from the inside of the door panel. As for the back two neither work and also when window lock is off on drivers panel both the back ones are twitching every now and then. Driving me wild!!!!!!!!!!
