Question Morette headlights on a Bugeye???

As above. I've bought some Morette headlights for my Bugeye STI Prodrive (style). I think I've been sent ones from a WRX (if this possible?). Anyway the connectors don't match up as there are four plugs on the back of my current lights and only three connectors on the back of the Morette ones.

Any info as in will I have to get STI ones or is there a way to wire them up?

Aaron

pure nightmare to wire up mate , there should be a thread on here about it somewhere but you need a proper auto el;ectrician to fit them , lots of clipping and joining wires ....

Yeah I've read god knows how many threads but all seem to be fitting STI lights to a WRX

Looks like I might have to sell them on unless someone can make a loom

JonMc might be able to help, he engineered some WRX-STI looms for me (for a price of course) but he may know how to backward engineer them.

Cheers mate, I've PM'd JonMc so I'll see what comes of that. From what I've read on some of the threads on here, I think I could do it if it were STI onto a WRX but it seems way more complicated the other way round

Got your PM mate, just back from my hols today hence the delay in replying. In principle it should be possible to mod the wiring on your morettes to suit but I've not worked on the morettes so I'd need to research it and see what the current config is.

Whereabouts are you as the only real way to do this is to have the lights in front of me and figure out the wiring

Dunno about that. I can sort most classic lighting problems, etc, but haven't had experience of the newage cars, so keep out of it.

Incidentally, you should try living in Scunny......
