Default Speedo lights gone out?!

Fitted the standard UK pull out cup holder on my 98 classic yesterday and when I went to drive home from work at 11pm there were no lights on the speedo panel.

The actual headlights worked fine and all warning lamps, indicators lit up as they should but there was just no back lighting for the instrument cluster?

Also I don't know how I will survive but the "bright" switch no longer makes the clock bright?

I can only assume I've knocked something when I had the centre part of the dash out as I highly doubt all the bulbs have gone at once. I'm going to pull the instrument cluster out to see if one of the connectors has come loose.

Anyone have any ideas on what else it could be?

Cheers

I don't think theres a fuse just for the backlights but I'll take a look in the handbook.

Would that knock all the backlights off on the speedo?

Found the fuse, blown, put a new one in, blew. Must have trapped a wire when I put the dash back!
