Default 08 WRX side/position lights

Hi all.

Does anyone know how replace the side light (called position light in manual) bulbs?
I have checked the manual and it tells me how to replace all bulbs, except for these, which it tells me to take it to Subaru.
I tried to work it out by taking the air box and snokel out but i cant seem to work out how to release the bulb to replace it?

Any guidance or pictures would be appreciated.

Thanks

Nope its not a headlight out job as that doesn't come out without taking the bumper off.

Simply remove the clips for the wheel arch liner on the front bumper and bend gently towards the wheel and stick your hand up to the back of the lamp and twist the fitting and it will just pop out

Thanks for the replies guys.
It's not a blob eye, its the 08+ newer shape hatchback model.
I was hoping for a method that helps me avoid removing the bumper & headlight units.

Thanks for that rob84, when i removed the airbox and snorkel thing i could get to the back of the unit, but i couldnt work out how to release it. There was a long black bit of plastic that was sticking out. Is this the bit that i twist?

Thanks in advance guys.
