Default help - power loss - ignition

looking for a bit of help

car cut out - there is no power going to ignition but the car has power. The fuse in the fuse box is fine and the main relay 'brown' one under the dash if fine

what else should i be looking for

"No power going to ignition"? What do you mean by this? Have you had the steering column shroud off and checked whether power is reaching the ignition switch and then getting past it? Use a simple circuit tester to check.

What you are describing sounds like ignition switch failure. If it is, there will be power going TO the switch but not getting beyond it.
