Hi All

Airbag light came on about 3 days ago, i was going to take it into subaru dealer tomorrow morning to see to it, but today it just went off randomly after about 3 days, 100 miles, and 8 engine on/off cycles..... any ideas?

2003 Blob Eye WRX - Well, low and behold just nipped out for lunch and it's come back on again. Grrrr.....

It happed on mine. Mine is a classic v4. It kept coming on and going off. When it was on the horn also stopped working.

Took it to my technician and was informed the "squib" needed replacing. £40 from a breakers and 20 mins labour. No further problems.

Have the seats got airbags? if so might be worth checking the connections under the seats, could just be a loose connector.
