Removing HID's. How?
Basically my car came with 6000k HID's and as bright as they are I'd prefer to fit some legal aftermarket ones instead..
I've found the how-to guide on here for fitting to see if I could reverse it, but looks like the previous owners done it completely different - there's no bulb holders present and the wires has been cut/soldered etc.
I have absolutely no idea how they looked before - as this my first impreza. So got no idea where to start haha
Would it be a case of trying to find some bulb holders and re-wiring it? Or take it to an auto electrician?
edit - will see if i can get some pictures if that will help!

Can you not un-plug from the original H4 connectors? They look like the mushroom looking object in this picture:

All the other connections will be going to the battery.
Probbaly best to get your pictures up.
Can't see how the bulb holder would have gone missing, its built into the back of the light, its just a clip that holds the bulb on.

Sorry yeah it's me being thick - the holder was tucked away out of view, although there is still a fair bit of wiring that's been chopped up, lots of bullet connectors etc. Going to make a start removing it all tomorrow.
