This has come up several times, the STi lamps use a six wire connector, the WRX has (IIRC) three, and as far as I know nobody has fixed the problem yet.

Question

hey guys,,,
can someone please help me out. i need to wire up Sti HID w/autoleveling. i have the switch and the headlight with the HID ballast. i dont have the wiring harness.

I see that the Headlight has a Orange wire harness with a female plug. the switch has 6 wires.. but i dont see any plugs for the 6 wires on the headlight.

Can someone please help me and post a pic or diagram of the wiring from the switch to the headlight (or ballast).

thanks
Will

Sorry, are you saying you are not fitting the STi lamp units complete, but just the HID from an STi into standard WRX lights?

Does the USA version of the WRX have a lamp levelling control also?
